D’Angelo Harrison scored a career-high 34 points, including six in the final dramatic minute, leading Hapoel Gilboa Galil to a 94 – 91 road victory over powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv in a thriller for Round 14 of the Israeli League.
Harrison also grabbed six rebounds, stole the ball five times and dished out four assists to finish with 41 (!) in PIR. With this win, his team improved to an 8 – 6 record and climbed to the fourth spot in the league standings.
Pierre Jackson and Michael Roll dropped 14 points apiece for Maccabi, the latter also adding six rebounds. Three of their teammates also scored in double figures, yet for all their offensive strength, the Yellows suffered on the other end, falling to 11-3.
