Zalgiris suffered its third defeat this season, while the hosts moved up to a 19-4 record and eye the top of the standings.
Travis Peterson led the winning side with 21 points and four rebounds, while for Sarunas Jasikevicius’ squad, Edgaras Ulanovas finished the game with 16.
Despite Zalgiris’ early lead in the game (26-14 at 10′), the hosts fought back in the second period and kept a short lead throughout the game, which helped them seal the victory against the reigning champions of the Lithuanian league.
