Second Lithuanian Cup in a row for Zalgiris Kaunas

Zalgiris beat Lietuvos Rytas in the final of the King Mindaugas Cup with 81-62 and won its second in a row. This also marks the team’s 8th won Cup (1990, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2018).

Edgaras Ulanovas stole the show with 21 points and 8 rebounds. The 26-year-old player also finished with an 28-point efficiency, the best of his squad in the final.

A total teamwork for Sarunas Jasikevicius’ team, as Aaron White tapped 14 points (5 rebs), Kevin Pangos joined the feast with 11 points and 7 assists, while Antanas Kavaliauskas finished with 10 points.

The Vilnius side had a hard time keeping up, with Chris Kramer being the only player to have scored in double-digits (16 points).
