Zalgiris Kaunas defeated Siauliai 69-58 with a 22-2 in the third period being the breaking point of this game. With this win, Zalgiris stays on top of LKL basketball league with a 23-3 record, while Siauliai is fifth with 10-16.
The man of the day was Paulius Jankunas who scored game-high 14 points in his 400th league game. He got some help from Aaron White with 13 points, while Vasilije Micic added 11 (8 in the third quarter).
Stankevicius on the other side scored 12 points.
