Keith Langford’s return to the European basketball stage couldn’t have been much better than that.
The two-time EuroLeague “Alphonso Ford” Top Scorer winner dropped 20 points (6/11 f.g.), grabbed 5 rebounds and served 5 assists his teammates for a team-high 28 PIR, leading Maccabi Rishon to a 97 – 91 victory over Bnei Herzliya.
In the 27 minutes he spent on the floor, Langford also had 2 steals and a team-high 12 in +/-.
Drew Crawford also scored 20 for Rishon that climbed to a 9 – 12 and the seventh place of the Israeli “Winner League” standings with this victory.
Herzliya needed more than the 29 points by Shawn Dawson and the double-double (26 points/11 rebounds). Their team is 10th with 8-13.
