Zalgiris Kaunas managed to bounce back from a numb first half in Alytus and prevailed over Dzukija 82-60.
Sarunas Jasikevicius’ squad had an 18-2 run early in the third period that helped the team get in the lead of the game.
Team work got the job done for the Kaunas side. Beno Udrih was the only player to score in double digits (11 points), while Brandon Davies and Kevin Pangos shared 9 points each.
Antanas Kavaliauskas and Paulius Jankunas followed with 8 points, same as Arturas Milaknis and Gytis Masiulis.
Zalgiris improved to a 25-4 record in the Lithuanian league standings and leads the course ahead of the playoffs.
