In an impressive 15-point comeback game, Hapoel Jerusalem shocked Maccabi in the Israeli Clasico. Hapoel, outscored the hosts 15-29 in the final quarter to eventually come out on top 81-82.
For each of the first three quarters, Maccabi outscored Hapoel and build a double-digit lead (66-51). In the final quarter, however, Hapoel cut the deficit to just one point (72-73) and later on went up ahead (75-79). With 38 seconds remaining the game was tied (79-79) but Maccabi hit a shot to put the hosts up (81-79). Hapoel was not done. Perperoglou hit a huge three-point shot to ice the game, and complete an incredible comeback for the visitors. Michael Roll could not convert on the other side of the court.

Jerome Dyson led the comeback for the visiting squad as he finished with 24 points, while cold-blooded Perperoglou added nine and the game winner. For the hosts, Alex Tyus put up 18 points.
Hapoel has now improved to a 16-10 record, while Maccabi slipped to 18-8.
