The Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four is approaching and Zalgiris Kaunas is preparing for it by demonstrating their power in the Lithuanian League. A team led by Sarunas Jasikevicus had an easy afternoon against Vytautas 109-52 at home grabbing their seventh straight win in the Lithuanian League.
The Lithuanian powerhouse finished the job in the first quarter as they outgunned their opponent with a 28-14 result in the first period. After that, it was an open road for the hosts as they completely demolished the visitors.
Aaron White was caught guilty for Zalgiris strong perfomance as he had almost a perfect game scoring 16 points on a 7/7 shooting from the field. His only miss was from the foul line (1/2 for one) and he also added 6 boards. Gytis Masiulis impact the game with a double-double scoring 14 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.
This was the last round of the regular season and Zalgiris finished it on the top with a 32-4 record while Vytautas finished on the bottom with an 8-28 record.
