Crvena Zvezda started their Playoffs campaign of the Serbian Superleague with a blowout win (89-50) at home against Vrsac in game 1 of the quarter-finals.
With Dejan Davidovac having a perfect first quarter with 8 points on a 3-3 shooting from the field Zvezda set the tone early on. They were up by 10 after the first period (21-11). At the end of the first half Zvezda was up by 23 points (50-27) making this game one-way street.
James Feldeine played only 15 minutes tonight, but that was enough for him to score 4 triples from 4 attempts finishing the game with 14 points.
Taylor Rochestie flirted with a double-double as he had 9 points and 8 assists.
Zvezda had strong shooting night (12-22 from the three-point territory) and combined with their outstanding defense they were simply unstoppable for the visiting squad. Stefan Djordjevic had 13 points for the losing side, but that far from enough.
The Game 2 of this series is scheduled for Wednesday.
