Lithuanian League defending champion Zalgiris Kaunas defeated Nevezis 84 – 69 and advanced to the semifinals after sweeping the series 3-0.
Brandon Davies scored a team-high 13 points, Arturas Milaknis added 12 while Beno Udrih and Edgaras Ulalonovas dropped 10 points apiece. Zalgiris went to the locker room for the break with a 48 – 34 lead and never looked back afterward.
Gintautas had a 20 points game-high for Nevezis and Lester Medford JR. contributed 16 points. Yet their efforts weren’t enough to prevent the loss and the sweep for their team.
Zalgiris will face Lietkabelis, that cruised past Siauliai 3 – 1, for a spot in the Finals.
