In a thriller finish, Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade won against FMP 84-83 in Game 1 of Serbian SuperLeague Finals.

Stefan Pot put FMP ahead by two (83-81) with 25 seconds left but in the following offense, James Feldeine made a wide-open three-pointer which turned the game in their favor. Pot had a lay-up for the win in the last second but fell just a bit short.

Although it seemed FMP was gaining the momentum after three shots from behind the arc which gave them a five-point advantage (79-74), Taylor Rochestie banked two triples to help Crvena Zvezda tie the game at 80 with forty seconds left.

Alen Omic led the victors with 22 points while Rochestie helped with 21. On the other side, Nemanja Nenadic scored 19 in addition to Marko Jeremic’s 18 points.

The second game in best-of-five series is scheduled for Saturday 8th of June when FMP will have the home-court advantage.
