Glen Rice Jr. was released for hitting his teammate Guy Pnini. However, with Hapoel Holon entering the Final Four the US guard is back in Israel to help the team that had previously released him.
As it turned out, the paperwork was never filled out and despite the player leaving Israel, in theory, he remained part of Holon’s roster.
According to the league, the player will not be available in the semifinal of the Final Four against Hapoel Jerusalem on Monday, but he will be available for the Final on Thursday if his team gets the win. Holon already made an appeal, asking for Glen Rice junior to be available for the semifinal game.
Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Fox Tel Aviv are the other semifinal couple.
