Luis Scola will play another season in China as he signed a deal with Shanghai Sharks for the upcoming season where he will join forces with another former NBA player Jimmer Fredette, the club announced.
The 38-year-old power forward played with Shanxi Brave Dragons last season and averaged 27.8 points, 13.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.4 steals in the Chinese League.
Scola has also been the leader for Argentina national team in the World Cup Qualifiers as he averaged 18 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. In the last match versus Uruguay, he banked 29 points, 11 rebounds and four assists.
Before arriving to China, the Argentinian veteran played with five different NBA teams in a ten-year span (2007-2017).
