The defeatless Zalgiris Kaunas (3-0) met the winless Nevezis (0-3) and recorded an 81-68 home win on Day 4 of Lithuanian League.
Nevezis put up a fight against the Lithuanian League champion winning the first quarter 17-16 but Zalgiris started slowly taking over the game and went on the halftime break with a 41-38 lead. The hosts kept the same rhythm after the rest breaking Nevezis’ resistance with a strong third quarter (62-50) and eventually securing the game.
Paulius Jankunas led the victors with 14 points while Brandon Davies added 12. On the other side, Chauncey Collins scored 14 in addition to Martynas Varnas’ 13 points.
