Darius Adams wasn’t going to be denied in Day 8 of the Chinese League. He showed his skills with 48 points (18/19 ft., 6/13 2pt., 6/12 3pt.), 10 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals in Xinjiang Flying Tigers (5-3) difficult 118-111 win over the Shandong Golden Stars (4-4). Donatas Motiejunas had 35 points and 16 assists, but wasn’t enough for his team.
Miroslav Raduljica scored a double-double with 48 points and 15 rebounds. He was by far the best player of the Jiangsu Dragons (4-4), who beat the Tianjin Gold Lions (2-6) in overtime with 109-103. Taylor Rochestie had 38 points for the Gold Lions.
Maciej Lampe scored a season-high 40 points and also gathered 20 rebounds helping the Jilin Northeast Tigers (3-5) recover from a 4-game losing streak. His team got a 112-102 win against the Sichuan Blue Whales (3-5).
On his part, Malcolm Delaney led the way in the Guangdong Southern Tigers (8-0) 142-129 win over the Fujian Sturgeons (4-4) with 31 points and 10 assists. Eugene Jeter had 15 points for the losing side.
Marcus Denmon was one assist shy from a triple-double (39 p., 11 r., 9 as.), but wasn’t enough for the Zhejiang Golden Bulls (2-6) in their 117-116 loss against the Shanxi Brave Dragons (5-3).
Pierre Jackson scored 48 points and dished 10 assists for the Beijing Fly Dragons (2-6) in the 132-131 win over the Guangzhou Long-Lions (5-3). Kyle Fogg’s 52 points didn’t prove enough for the visitors.
