Zalgiris Kaunas played strong from start to finish in a convincing 94-65 road win against Alytaus Dzukija in Lithuanian League.
Marius Grigonis led the victors with game-high 25 points (7/10 from the field) and seven rebounds while Derrick Walton Jr. added 12 points. On the other side, Dominykas Domarkas scored 14 in addition to Matas Jogela’s 11 points.
Zalgiris allowed only nine points to the hosts in the first quarter while they banked 23 eventually going on the break with a 48-26 lead. They kept going after the break also increasing the lead and securing the win.
Neptunas and Zalgiris hold the top of the standings with 9-1 records while is in the middle with 4-6. The bottom is reserved by Siauliai which lost all ten games so far.
