John Dibartolomeo and Scottie Wilbekin nailed eight triples together and combined for 42 points leading Maccabi Tel Aviv to a 91-78 home win against Hapoel Jerusalem on Day 10 of Israeli League.
Dibartolomeo scored game-high 22 points while Wilbekin followed with 20 of his own. Tarik Black helped with 13 points. For Hapoel, Tamir Blatt scored 15 in addition to J’Covan Brown’s 12 points.
Maccabi held a 26-18 lead after the first quarter and a 50-39 lead at halftime. They stayed ahead after the break (70-63) and left nothing to chance until the end, securing the win.
Maccabi improved to 8-2 while Hapoel now holds a 6-3 record.
