Senior guard Vasa Pusica was once again impressive last week. He led Northeastern to two more wins, both with 72-60. The young Serb started off his week with 19 points against William & Mary and scored 23 in the overtime win against Elon Phoenix. The Huskies are now second in the Colonial Athletic Association.
Pusica was on top, but not the only European player with big numbers the past seven days. Slovenian Martin Krampelj averaged over 20 points and posted a couple of double-doubles, but Creighton only managed to grab one “W” in three games. Jon Axel Gudmundsson, Oscar da Silva and Guglielmo Caruso rounded up the Top 5.
