Cedevita wins sixth straight Croatian Cup

Cedevita beat fellow Zagreb club Cibona 89 – 74 inthe Croatian Cup Final to win the title for sixth consecutive year and seventh time overall in the history of the club.

Per ABA League:

Sixth in a row, seventh in club’s history… Cedevita have defended the Croatian National Cup trophy by defeating their city rivals Cibona in the final match.

The orange troops made the crucial 18:0 run in the final minutes of the 2nd quarter and at the beginning of the 3rd quarter, after which they escaped to a pretty safe distance – 57:40. With Filip Krušlin being on fire (7/11 FG3), Cedevita had no troubles keeping their lead in the rest of the match.

As we have mentioned at the beginning of this text, this was the 7th national cup trophy for Cedevita, while it’s also their 6th in a row in this competition. Cedevita have won the Croatian National Cup in 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and now in 2019.
