Neptunas Klaipeda prevailed over Zalgiris Kaunas with an 81-71 victory in the Lithuanian league. This marks Neptunas’ third victory over the Lithuanian champions this season in respective games, a huge achievement for the Klaipeda side.
Zalgiris, who traveled to Svyturio Arena without Antanas Kavaliauskas, Nate Wolters and Paulis Jankunas now falls to a 20-3 record in the LKL standings.
Daividas Gailius led the hosts with 16 points, while for Zalgiris Brandon Davies posted a game-high of 22 points.
