James Feldeine and Amar’e Stoudemire formed a powerful duo that led Hapoel Jerusalem to a 98 – 92 home win in overtime over Maccabi Tel Aviv for Round 25 of the Israeli Winner League regular season.
Feldeine finished the game with 23 points plus four assists while Stoudemire added 22 points and seven rebounds. TaShawn Thomas also notched a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds for Hapoel that improved to 18 – 7 with this win.
Scottie Wilbekin contributed 22 points to Maccabi and John Bartolomeo 21. The “Yellows” came back from an 8-point deficit, 80 – 72, with 105 seconds remaining in regulation to force the extra period but Hapoel was the one to prevail in the end.
Maccabi dropped to 19 – 6 and are in the second place of the standings with one game less than top-placed Hapoel Holon.
