Scottie Wilbekin scored a game-high 23 points and dished out four assists to lead Maccabi Tel Aviv to a 99 – 92 win over Hapoel Eilat for Round 26 of the Israeli Winner League.
Johnny O’ Bryant added 15 points, Tarik Black 14 points, and six rebounds while Michael Roll scored 12 for Maccabi that improved its record to 20 – 6 and returned to the top spot in the standings.
Hapoel Eilat didn’t manage to keep up with its opponents’ offensive strength and dropped to 18 – 9 and the third place. Elijah Bryant finished with 21 points and Suleiman Braimoh with 16 points plus seven rebounds for the losing side. Jonathan Skjoldebrand had 14 points and six rebounds while JP Socoto scored 12.
