Zalgiris took over the lead in the second quarter and didn’t let go of it on their way to a convincing 84-63 road win and a spot in the Lithuanian League Finals.
Marius Grigonis scored 18 points for the victors followed by Deon Thompson’s 16 and Brandon Davies’ 13 points and eight boards.
For Lietkabelis, Jamar Wilson scored 18 points in addition to Paulius Valinskas and Ziga Dimec’s 12 points.
Zalgiris‘ opponent in the Finals will be the winner of the clash between Neptunas Klaipeda and Lietuvos Rytas. The latter leads 1-0 and Game 2 is scheduled for May 24.
