Overseas Elite won the previous four seasons of The Basketball Tournament securing the large money prize every year since 2015. However, their 2019 TBT team won’t feature previous leader, Errick McCollum, who will get married during the summer and will be absent this year.
Team Hines is shaping up strong, but the defending champions won’t lack starpower. Overseas Elite remained truthful to its name picking out the new set of players. DJ Kennedy, Justin Burrell, Jeremy Pargo, DeAndre Kane, Johndre Jefferson, Paris Horne, Bobby Brown, Angelo Caloiaro, John DiBartolomeo and Alex Tyus, all important members of clubs outside USA, are on the task to stay on top.
The Basketball Tournament 2019 will kick off on July 19th and the championship match will be played on August 6th at Chicago. The winning side will receive a two million dollar prize.
