Following the complaints after Game 1 of the Serbian Finals, Partizan NIS officials met and decided the team to prioritize the interests of basketball in the country and commit for the best-of-five series. Tuesday’s announcement underlines scandalous events took place on and off the court during Game 1 adding a very unhealthy atmosphere was created.
Therefore Partizan demanded urgent changes as well noting that the current leadership of the league has demonstrated its incompetence for years making various mistakes. The black-whites stressed Serbian basketball deserves better, but opted to revisit the matter in hand after the series versus their arch-rival Crvena Zvezda mts finishes.
