Only 8 teams out of the 64 that competed in the eight regional tournaments made the cut for The Basketball Tournament Championship Round. The winners of the eight regional tournaments will meet in Chicago from August 1st up the final set to take place on August 6th at the Wintrust Arena.
Four-time defending champions Overseas Elite and Team Hines both made it to the Championship Round. The two sides heavily composed by players with a long European history will play on August 2nd and will face each other on August 4th if they both advance to the semifinals. Overseas Elite will battle Loyalty is Love and Team Hines will face Team Brotherly Love.
On August 1st, Eberlein Drive will go against Carmen’s Crew and the Golden Eagles Alumni will face Jackson TN Underdawgs with the winners of the two ties forming the second semifinal set to take place on August 4th. The winners of the two semifinals will battle for the grand prize of two million dollars on August 6th.
