Marko Todorovic tips off Chinese run with double-double

Montenegrin big Marko Todorovic posted a 20-point, 10-rebound double-double, also tallied six dimes, three steals and one block in his Chinese CBA debut on Sunday. He was not enough for the Tianjin Pioneers in the 103-81 home loss to the Beijing Ducks that featured Croatian-American Justin Hamilton and his 14-point, 10-rebound double-double.

Another Round 1 affair saw American-Israeli-Austrian Sylven Landesberg launching his career in China with 33 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and one steal for the Zhejiang Golden Bulls in the 97-96 win against the Jiangsu Dragons. Miroslav Raduljica notched ten points, eight assists, seven rebounds and a couple of steals for the losing side.

Lithuanian big Donatas Motiejunas was also in action with 19 points, 15 rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block for the Shanghai Sharks in the 93-84 victory over Nanjing Monkey King. The 27-year-old Lithuanian center already has a couple of CBA seasons under his belt with the Shandong Golden Stars, now Shandong Heroes.
