With the rocket sirens sounding today in Tel Aviv, Maccabi Tel Aviv announced that the game for the 6th round of the Israeli league against Hapoel Beer Sheva will be played in the 20th of November due to a ban from the Home Front Command and the Israeli Police.

According to numerous reports Israel has launched airstrikes in Gaza and Syria against two senior figures from the militant group Islamic Jihad in rare targeted assassination attempts that immediately prompted retaliatory rocket fire from Gaza.

Baha Abu al-Ata, a 42-year-old Palestinian Islamic Jihad commander, and his wife were killed in their home in Gaza City, the Iran-backed group said in a statement.

Shortly afterward dozens of missiles rained down on Israel and the security concerns are obvious.
