Theo Maledon had a good shooting night as he led Villeurbanne to a 91-72 win over Strasbourg and to the Leaders Cup semifinals.
Maledon scored 20 points on 8-12 shooting including 3-4 from deep while also adding seven assists and three rebounds in 24 minutes on the court.
Antoine Diot helped with 15 and Adreian Payne with 12 points. For Strasbourg, Gabe York scored 17 in addition to Thomas Scrubb’s 15 points.
In the semifinals, ASVEL will clash with Levallois who got past Cholet while in the other pair features Monaco and Dijon.
