The French Jeep Elite League will remain suspended until further notice, the LNB (National Basketball League) announced. The same applies to Pro B, France’s second-division championship.
The aim of LNB is to resume the games at some point, in “accordance with government decisions” and with the safety and health of players, support teams and public being the “top priority.” The French League had been previously postponed until Apri 3.
LNB took this decision after “receiving complete information on the situation” and “exchanges with the Ministry”. The organization also mentions that the French Federation strongly supported the decision.
The French Federation canceled all its competitions (all minor leagues and French Cup) except from the Women’s League on March 29.
