Gameday 2 of the French League continued with ASVEL bouncing back from losing the opener by beating Chalons Reims on the road.

Chalons-Reims – ASVEL 73-85

Allerik Freeman led the way with 22 points while also grabbing seven rebounds, followed by Norris Cole with 20 points. Both shot 4-6 from the three-point range. David Lighty added 15 points.

On the other side, Matthieu Gauzin scored 15 in addition to Arnas Velicka and Jalen Adams’s 13 points each.

Gravelines-Dunkerque – Limoges 65-77

Limoges logged a road win as well led by Nicolas Lang who banked 22 points on 7-8 from deep while Jerry Boutsiele scored 19 and DeMarcus Nelson 12 points.

For Gravelines, Cameron Wells scored 14 while Romuald Morency helped with ten points.

Cholet – Chalon/Saone 91-73

Lasan Kromah led the winning charge with 22 points while Kyvon Davenport scored 13 and Terell Parks 12 points.

On the opposing side, DJ Cooper logged 16 in addition to Myles Hesson’s 14 and Garrett Sim’s 11 points.

Monaco – Boulogne-Levallois 62-72

Levallois tipped off the campaign with a 72-62 win against Monaco. Rob Gray led the way with 17 points in addition to Tomer Ginat’s 11. Anthony Brown and Vitalis Chikoko scored 11 each.

For Monaco, Marcos Knight scored 12 followed by Darral Willis with 11 and Khadeen Carrington with ten points.

Nanterre – Bourg-en-Bresse 82-95

Bourg came out on top against Nanterre with 95-82 on teh scoreboard and Danilo Andjusic was the man of the match.

The Serbian guard nailed 25 points on 5-5 from deep and 9-12 shooting overall. Zachery Peacock scored 19 and Alen Omic 12 points.

For Nanterre, Isaia Cordinier and Tyler Stone logged 18 points each while Dwight Buycks helped with ten.

SIG Strasbourg – Boulazac 100-84

A couple of days after Round 5 defeats for both sides, a late run for the home side made the separation. Brandon Jefferson banked 24 points and Bonzie Colson 23.

John Flowers went for 24 points in a losing effort.

Elan Bearnais Pau-Lacq-Orthez – Le Mans 90-81

The game pushed back to October 28 saw the hosts prevailing in overtime. Shannon Evans stood out with a game-high 27 points paired with 11 assists, also a game-high.

Scott Bamforth produced 15 points for the visitors falling to a second straight loss.
