Jeep Elite Day 4 Recap

The fourth day of the French Jeep Elite tipped off Friday with two games, following the cancellation of the game between Levallois and Boulazac due to safety concerns. The lone Sunday affair featured an LDLC ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne road win.

Gravelines-Dunkerque – Roanne 77-43

Gravelines-Dunkerque dominated Roanne paced by Corey Davis Jr.’s 13-point performance. Cameron Wells and Quincy Ford tapped 9 points apiece.

Juvonte Reddic led all Roanne scorers with 10 points, Steeve Ho You Fat posted 8 points and Boubacar Toure exited the court with 7 points.

Le Portel – Dijon 65-73

Dijon returned to its Jeep Elite duties after finishing third in the BCL Final 8 and defeated Le Portel on the road. David Holston led the winners with 16 points, Alexandre Chassang added 14 points, and Abdoulaye Loum had 10 points.

Boris Dalo posted a game-high for the hosts with 26 points, while Charles Abouo added 11 points. Benoît Mangin and MiKyle McIntosh had 8 points each.

Chalon/Saone – Orleans 83-80

Eric Buckner led the way with 15 points for the victors in addition to Rafi Menco’s 14 and Myles Hesson’s 13 points.

For Orleans, Paris Lee banked 20 and Darius Johnson-Odom 14 points.

Chalons-Reims – Nanterre 74-83

Chris Warren and Brian Conklin scored 19 points each for Nanterre with the latter also grabbing ten boards while Johnny Berhanemeskel added 13 points.

On the other side, Jalen Adams scored 23 and Arnas Velicka 17 points.

Cholet – LDLC ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne 73-82

Paul Lacombe starred with ASVEL holding on through a tough fourth period. Behind 7/9 field goals, the 30-year-old swingman earned a game-high 21 points.

Nianta Diarra sank 19 points and Michael Stockton 18 for the hosts.

Strasbourg – Limoges 66 – 74

In a French League classic, DeMarcus Nelson scored 18 points and dished out five assists to lead Limoges to a road win over Strasbourg. Phil Scrubb (17 points), Jerry Boutsiele (15 points) and Nicolas Lang (14 points) also scored double-digit numbers for the winning side.

Brandon Jefferson dropped 23 points and Bonzie Colson had 20 for the hosts, with most of their contribution taking place in the first half, when Strasbourg led 45 – 41.

Elan Bearnais – Monaco 86-90

The home team tried to steal the victory in the fourth, but Monaco rose to the occasion. Rob Gray led the course with 22 points while Matthias Lessort and Dee Bost tapped 16 points each.

Vincent Sanford posted a game-high with 28 points.
