Due to the coronavirus pandemic and changes to the schedule, LDLC ASVEL ended up having more than a month off from the obligations in the French Jeep Elite league.
Their last game in the competition was on November 8 against Orleans (a win) after which they played only Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. They played eight straight games in the European competition, out of which they won two.
December 14 was the date of their ‘return’ to the French League and they did it in a convincing manner with a big 101-66 win over Le Portel.
Amine Noua led the effort with 20 points in less than 22 minutes on the court while Allerik Freeman and Guerschon Yabusele followed with 15 and 14 points respectively.
On Saturday (December 12), three games were played in Jeep Elite and LaMonte Ulmer definitely stole the spotlight with a 31-point performance in Orleans’ win over Pau-Lacq-Orthez. He shot 7-10 from the three-point range.
Cholet was successful in taking down Dijon thanks to Gerry Blakes’ 24 points and despite the opposing Alexandre Chassang’s 23 points.

Chalons-Reims – Chalon/Saone 78-87
Orleans – Pau-Lacq-Orthez 85-75
