Rasid Mahalbasic has signed a deal with French side AS Monaco as a reinforcement for the French Jeep Elite playoffs, the club announced Thursday.
30-year-old Mahalbasic arrives at the French club as a replacement for Will Yeguete who remains sidelined with a knee injury. The Austrian-Slovenian big man has posted an average of 11.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in 34 games in the German BBL with EWE Baskets Oldenburg this season.
He is expected to make his debut in Monaco’s upcoming game against Boulazac on Saturday.
