Orleans Loiret Basket has officially announced the addition of guard Marcus Paige (28, 1,83 m) for the next season. Paige parted ways with Partizan, where he played for the last three years.
Per the French club announcement: “Paige, a college star in North Carolina, reached the NCAA Finals with his team in 2016 in a game that will be remembered against Villanova. Marcus Paige was drafted in 2016 by the Brooklyn Nets in 55th position.
In October 2016, he signed up with the Salt Lake City Stars in the G-League. He joined the Minnesota Timberwolves to play in the 2017 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. In August 2017, he signed with the Charlotte Hornets with whom he participated in five NBA games before being sent to the Greensboro Swarm, their affiliated team.
