Youssoupha Fall enjoyed a nearly-perfect performance to help ASVEL register a 94-81 victory against Chalons-Reims in the French League. The Senegalese big man signed off with a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds as TJ Parker’s squad managed to bounce back and improve to a 4-1 record.
Chris Jones followed with 17 points and Antoine Diot posted 10. On the other end of the court, Gani Lawal and Mike Henry led the way for Chalons with 18 and 16 points respectively.
Monaco bounced back in the fourth period, despite only scoring six points in the third, to overcome Pau-Orthez with a 74-66 win on the road to extend its streak to three wins in the French League.
Donatas Motiejunas led the way with 15 points, Rob Gray posted 12 points with a strong presence in the fourth and Alpha Diallo also added 11.
Pau-Orthez’s Justin Bibbins scored 15 points and Hamady Ndiaye had 12.
