Donatas Motiejunas and Alpha Diallo paced Monaco to a 74-61 victory against Orleans on the road in the French Betclic Elite on Saturday, to improve to an 11-5 record in the standings.
Motiejunas dropped a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds for Sasa Obradovic‘s squad, while Diallo contributed 17 points and Dwayne Bacon added 10 points and 5 rebounds.
Malela Mutuale posted 15 points for the hosts, Youssou Ndoye followed with 14 and Jean-Philippe Dally had 10 points.
Monaco remained in charge of the game from start to finish, to bounce back in the French League after last week’s defeat to Nanterre. They are currently placed second in the standings, behind Levallois (12-3).
