AS Monaco registered its eighth consecutive win in the French Jeep Elite League by beating Le Portel 70 – 82 on the road. The Monegasque side remains tied with Levallois Metropolitans for the first place in the standings.
Will Thomas led all scorers with 17 points while Make James pitched in 14 points plus nine assists to pace the Monaco offense overall. Alpha Diallo had 13 points plus seven rebounds and Dwayne Bacon scored 12 for the winning squad that finished the game with 21 assists while shooting 22-34 on 2-pointers.
Le Portel committed 23 turnovers and was just unable to match up Monaco. Femi Olujobi led the hosts with 12 points.
