ASVEL Villeurbanne remained first in the standings of the French Jeep Elite League thanks to an 87 – 72 win over Cholet at home. TJ Parker’s players were in control for the entire game with a performance that was equally strong on both ends.
Charles Kahudi led the way for ASVEL with 18 points while Elie Okobo scored 15 points and Yousoupha Fall posted 11 points plus 10 boards. Darrin Govens produced a game-high 23 points for Cholet that is now 17 – 16 and in the eighth spot.
Monaco remained in hot pursuit of ASVEL by defeating Limoges 84 – 66. Donatas Motiejunas had 13 points plus nine rebounds and Mike James scored 12.
Thomas Wimbush dropped 16 points for fourth-placed Limoges.
