Nando De Colo returned to France late in his illustrious career and, after a couple of months, brought LDLC ASVEL to Leaders Cup glory as they defeated JL Bourg 83-74 in the final.
The EuroLeague legend scored 20 points for the winning side and took the Leaders Cup for the second time in his career after a successful campaign with Cholet back in 2008, at the begging of his professional basketball journey.
Eventually, as expected, De Colo was named the Leaders Cup MVP.
Retin Obasohan followed him with 16 points, Charles Kahudi added 13 with nine rebounds, and Dee Bost 12.
Jordan Floyd with 23 and James Palmer with 20 points gave a good effort, but the rest of JL Bourg didn’t follow in their footsteps, and Asvel claimed the trophy already in the first moments of the fourth period after taking a 72-47 lead.
