Nando De Colo had a beautiful performance of 27 points, five rebounds and four assists to lead ASVEL Villeurbanne past Cholet 85 – 79 in the game that concluded the quarterfinal stage in the 2023 French Cup.
De Colo shot 8-12 from the field to lead all game scorers. Dee Bost added 18 points and Retin Obasohan scored 13 for ASVEL.
Earlier, AS Monaco rolled over Pau Orthez 98 – 78 behind 20 points by Jaron Blossongame. Alpha Diallo had 16 points plus six rebounds while Matthew Strazel scored 13 and Donta Hall posted 13 points plus five boards for Sasa Obradovic‘s team that was without sanctioned Mike James for a fourth straight game.
Garret Sim was the top contributor for Orthez with 12 points plus nine assists.
