The latest brilliant outing for French prodigy and lock for the top spot in the 2023 NBA draft, Victor Wembanyama drew up plenty of highlights and also powered Metropolitans 92 to the win, 93-80, against Cholet in Game 1 of the best-of-three series of the Betclic Elite LNB Pro A Playoffs.
Wembanyama, 19, is heading to the San Antonio Spurs after the Texas franchise secured the first pick of the approaching draft. In his first appearance since the NBA draft lottery, he posted a 22-point, 10-rebound double-double to go with six assists, two steals, and two blocks.
The promising upstart made 10/19 field goals lasting nearly 32 minutes.
