Monaco bounced back after a loss to Nancy, defeating Nanterre 91-82 in Round 11 of the French BetClic ELITE to improve its record to 10-1.
Jordan Loyd delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 29 points with seven rebounds to lead Sasa Obradovic’s side to victory. He shot 4/7 for two, 4/6 for three, and finished with a PIR of 32.
Matthew Strazel contributed with 11 points, and Mouhammadou Jaiteh added 10 points and five rebounds, following the lead of the American guard.
For Nanterre, Juhaan Begarin led with 21 points, while Ibrahima Fall-Faye almost achieved a double-double, scoring 20 points with nine boards. Desi Rodriguez added 11 points.
Lauvergne leads ASVEL over Dijon
ASVEL also bounced back after a loss in the previous round with a 79-74 win over Dijon at home, improving their record to 7-4, while Dijon fell to 4-7.
Joffrey Lauvergne led Gianmarco Pozzecco’s squad with 20 points, Nando De Colo added 12, and Youssoupha Fall contributed 10 points.
Cameron Hunt stood out with 26 points for the losing side, with David Holston adding 13, and Ahmad Caver contributing 10 points.
