AS Monaco beat Nanterre 94 – 92 to advance to the French Cup semifinals. The Monegasque side will face Strasbourg for a spot in the championship game.
Yakuba Ouattara dropped 17 points for Monaco. Mike James scored 13 points and dished out five assists while Donta Hall posted 12 points plus 11 rebounds. Donatas Motiejunas had 13 points plus five boards.
Justin Bibbins led Nantere with 24 points plus seven assists while Benjamin Sene scored 24 points as well.
Monaco actually led 94 – 87 with 2 minutes remaining. Nanterre managed to trim that deficit to a shooting distance but was unable to get any closer.
