The French League regular season is over with both first-seeded defending champion AS Monaco and second-placed Paris Basketball finishing with victories ahead of the playoffs.

Monaco defeated Blois 89 – 73 on the road, licking its wounds following a heartbreaking elimination in the EuroLeague playoffs with an overtime loss to Fenerbahce Beko in Game 5.

Mam Jaiteh led Monaco with 21 points plus five rebounds while Jordan Loyd posted 19 points and five boards of his own. La Roca team was without Mike James and Alpha Diallo.

Meanwhile, Paris got an 80 – 66 away win over Le Portel behind 25 points plus five assists by TJ Shorts. Thanks to this result, Paris has now registered a crazy number of 25 wins in a row over all competitions.

ASVEL Villeurbanne also emerged victorious 69 – 66 at Roanne, courtesy of 22 points from Timothe Luwawu Cabarrot.

Boulogne Levallois, Victor Wembanyama’s team last year, was officially relegated, finishing at the bottom with a 4-30 record.

The Playoff pairings are the following:

Monaco (1st) – Le Portel (8th)
Paris (2nd) – Cholet (7th)
ASVEL (3rd) – St. Quentin (6th)
JL Bourg en Bresse (4th) – Nanterre (5th)
