After being eliminated in the EuroLeague Playoffs Game 5 at home against Fenerbahce, AS Monaco managed to bounce back by entering the LNB Playoffs the right way.
They beat Le Portel 85-78 also thanks to Donatas Motiejunas, who led his team with 17 points and 4 boards. Mike James, who recently became the EuroLeague MVP, didn’t make it to the game but gave his opinion about the way his team was playing. “I like our pace right now”, he commented on X.
Jaron Blossomgame, who started the game with a huge one-handed dunk, was also important in Monaco’s victory, ending with 16 points. They were both followed by Alpha Diallo, who had 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists; Elie Okobo, instead, had 11 points and 4 assists.
Coming off the bench, Ivan Fevrier ended with his team’s best performance in the defeat, ending with 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. He was followed by Bastien Vautier’s 13 points.
