Turning things around after losing in the series opener, Paris Basketball took down Cholet Basket 74-62 in the do-or-die away Game 3 to overcome the LNB Quarter-Finals.
The BKT EuroCup champions got carried in scoring by Nadir Hifi, who ended with a team-high 22 points over 4/7 from beyond the arc. His backcourt partner TJ Shorts had 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists in Tuomas Iisalo’s team’s win.
Playing his last game of the season before the 2024 NBA Draft, 2005-born Tidjane Salaun finished with 7 points and 7 rebounds. Coming off the bench, Cholet’s captain Kim Tillie was the best of his team in scoring with 11 points.
After this decisive victory over Cholet, Paris Basketball will meet in the LNB Semi-Finals with ASVEL, which previously took out Saint-Quentin 2-0. On the bracket’s other side, reigning champions and 1st-seeded AS Monaco will face JL Bourg-en-Bresse after respectively eliminating Le Portel and Nanterre.
