Monaco and ASVEL took the lead in their best-of-five semifinal series

Monaco surprisingly lost French Semifinals Game 2 at home but evened the odds with the first road game against JL Bourg.

The defending champions defeated the BKT EuroCup runner-up with a final score of 81-85 to take a 2-1 series lead.

Jaron Blossomgame had 21 points for Sasa Obradovic‘s side, while Elie Okobo added 15 points with five rebounds and five assists. Alpha Diallo finished the game with 12 points, while Donta Hall was a rebound shy of a double-double with 12 points.

Zaccharie Risacher led JL Bourg with 17 points, Isaiah Mike followed with 15, while Bryce Brown and Bodian Massa added 12 points each.

After losing the opener to Paris, LDLC ASVEL won two consecutive games to turn the series around, emerging victorious in Game 3 at home, 86-77.

Paris Lee stood out with 27 points for Pierric Poupet’s team, while Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot added 12 points, and Charles Kahudi and Mbaye Ndiaye followed with 10 points apiece.

T.J. Shorts led Paris with 24 points, Medhy Ngouama followed with 17, while Nadir Hifi added 13 points.
