An epic performance by Joseph Trapani helped Cholet (6-11) score 29 points in the last quarter and stun Le Mans on the road. The hosts controlled, or at least that’s what they thought, the majority of the game, but in the end, they blacked out on offense and were horrid on the defensive end, thus being the victim of a surprise.
Le Mans (12-5) lost the chance to finish the week alone in the third place of the standings, but so did Villeurbanne (12-5), that was defeated against the much better Gravelines (13-4). Coach Monscau’s team now shares the first place with….
… Monaco (13-4) which became another team that exposes the many many problems that Limoges(8-9) has this year. It was a victory that was quite expected, to be honest. None of the Limougauds’ stars was able to make a difference for his team, when their opponents had Adrian Uter (look below) and Aaron Cel in a great night.
Nanterre (11-6) and Strasbourg (11-6) played according to their standards and are tied in the 5th spot, while Orleans (8-9) took a win away from home to come closer to the playoff spots.
