Eleven unanswered points in the fourth quarter send AS Monaco to a home win against SIG Strasbourg

After trailing for large stretches, AS Monaco dominated the fourth quarter en route to a win, 77-65, versus SIG Strasbourg in Betclic Elite action in Salle Gaston Medecin on Sunday.

Heading to Round 1 of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season and hosting EA7 Emporio Armani Milan on Thursday, Nick Calathes and Mike James did not play. However, an improved team effort in the second half created a 1-1 record early in the Regular Season of the top-flight division of France.

Matthew Strazel enjoyed a team-high 17 points, while Elie Okobo and Jaron Blossomgame followed with 16 and 14 points, respectively. On the losing end, Brice Dessert tallied a game-high 21 points with 10/13 two-pointers.

Among Round 2 contests played on Saturday, Paris recovered from a loss in the opening week with a win, 102-87, against Elan Chalon at La Colisee. Standing out for the team coached by Tiago Splitter, T.J. Shorts II ended up with a 23-point, 10-assist double-double.
